What you pay for a visit.
The service
Hostline is a live link for a visit. The guest can talk to staff, add an extra, and close. At the close, the guest says how it went. A guest who answers Great or Okay is invited to Google, with the attendant named; a guest who answers Not great is not, and their feedback goes to the business privately. There is no guest app.
The price
15¢ a visit. Two texts are included: the welcome and the close. Staff calls from the guest’s page are included too; they are not texts. $39 a month covers the first 260 visits. After that, the price is the same 15¢.
The visit page
The page is quoted once, when you start. There is no signup fee.
Reviews
Hostline never charges per published Google review. A review is not required to use the link. The welcome text never asks for one.
Texts
Visit texts include STOP and HELP. Loyalty messages, including birthdays, gifts, and invites, go out only after a separate yes.
The desk
Hostline runs on the business’s point of sale: the POS says when a visit starts and ends, and no guest gets a text until it is connected. The Clover and Toast connections are built and wait on each company’s approval; Square is planned. Extras a guest asks for reach staff, who add them to the check. Hostline never takes the payment and does not take a share of the check.
This site
Signup creates the account and does not start onboarding. The Google listing link is required, because guests who answer Great or Okay are offered it at the close. Onboarding waits until we verify the business and email you. The short form on the home page is a request for us to reach out. How a phone number is handled is in Privacy.
