Benefits

What each promise looks like on the floor.

Smoother service.

A guest taps Ask for Sam on their page, and Sam, the person serving them, sees the request. No waving across the room.

More sales.

The menu and extras stay on the guest’s phone, so another round is one tap. Sam sees the request and adds it to the check, the way your staff already do.

Juniper & Salt has your note.

It goes to them privately, so they can make it right.

More reviews.

After the visit, the close text asks how it went, and one tap tells you. The next step fits the answer. A happy guest is invited to review you on Google right away, and an okay guest just after their note. A guest who wasn’t happy tells you privately, so you can make it right.

How it works

Two texts. Each opens its own page.

The welcome links to the guest’s page for the stay. When your POS closes the visit, the close links to a page that asks how it went. Your floor only takes the number.

Questions

Clear rules. No surprises.

  • Consent firstThe guest consents once at check-in.
  • STOP anytimeEvery text includes STOP and HELP.
  • No review in the welcomeThe first text never asks for a review.
  • No guest appThe link opens in the phone they already have.
How do guests get the link?

You take their number at check-in. Hostline texts a link for this visit. That text is a welcome, not a review ask.

Do guests need to install anything?

No. There is no guest app. They open the link.

What happens with unhappy feedback?

It goes to you privately, so you can make it right. A guest who taps Not great is not invited to review on Google; a happy or okay guest is.

Does it work with Square or Toast?

Hostline needs your POS to know when a visit starts and ends, so no guest gets a text until it is connected. The Clover and Toast connections are built and wait on each company’s approval. Square is planned.

Set it up for your place.

Setup starts with a short form, and Hostline verifies your business before any guest gets a text.
